Dr. Jamtsho holds a PhD in Management from Shri Jagdishprasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala University, Rajasthan, India. He also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PgCHE) from Samtse College of Education, strengthening his academic practice in tertiary teaching and learning. He earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialisation in Finance from Gedu College of Business Studies under the Royal Government of Bhutan Scholarship, and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Finance from the same college.

With over seven years of experience in higher education, Dr. Jamtsho has taught Finance, Research, and Management-related modules at the tertiary level. He currently serves as Programme Leader of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme, where he oversees academic coordination, curriculum delivery, and quality assurance. He has also served as Staff Secretary, contributing to institutional management and faculty coordination. His teaching philosophy integrates theory with real-world application, encouraging practical understanding and sustained student engagement.
Beyond academia, Dr. Jamtsho brings diverse industry experience. During his MBA, he developed a Training Needs Assessment model for Construction Development Corporation Limited (CDCL). He also undertook professional training in Capacity Building in Agriculture in Israel under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. His professional experience includes serving as an Assistant Accountant in a private tour agency and working as a freelance cultural tour guide. In addition, he is a freelance trainer in business and financial strategy, leadership, and entrepreneurship development, and is a certified CEFE trainer.
His blend of academic expertise and industry exposure enables him to connect classroom learning with professional practice, equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence required for today’s dynamic work environment.
