Rigter Talk: The college invites personalities from varying background to talk to the staff and students. The objective is to keep NRC community of staff and students inspired.

Rigter Mind Meet: This is an initiative structured around the vision of the College to “Inspire research” and mission to “Nurtu

re the seeds of elegance and potentials innate in each young mind.” Rigter Mind Meet will also be an open platform to facilitat

e discussions that revolve round the core values of the College with the aim of generating insights into taking NRC forward. The purpose of Rigter Mind Meet is to inspire research culture, and to explore ideas to enhance the wellbeing of staff and students, to promote accountability in discharging responsibilities with integrity, to operate with transparency, to encourage innovation and to inspire to strive for excellence. Broadly, Rigter Mind Meet supports in carving an organization character for NRC that is conducive for staff and students and supports their wellbeing. This platform is open to both students and staff to participate in the discussions facilitated by a member of NRC.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rigter Run: Coinciding with World Health Day, the College organizes Rigter Run which is open to interested participants from outside. It is an exciting run through woods, riverside, paddy fields and villages. Every year many enthusiasts participate for fun while some run to win. This activity reminds NRC Community to care for their health. The College also spreads the message of World Health Day through this initiative.

 

 

 

 

 

Rigter Expressions: This activity is an opportunity to harness the creativity and innovative ideas of students and to bring them out from their daily mundane classroom learning. It is organized coinciding with the Global Entrepreneurship Week. During this occasion, students in groups and as individuals express their ingenuity, creativity and innovative ideas. It. In essence, Rigter Expressions is a platform for the students to express their creative talents and skills

 

 

 

 

 

Rigter Culture Day: To celebrate the Birth Anniversary of The Great Fourth, His Majesty the Druk Gyalpo Jigme Singye Wangchuck the College organizes Culture Competition between different student residences. The day scholars and Part Time Education also form groups and participate. The charm of this activity is that it brings the local community and the College together. The community participates as Guest.

 

 

 

 

 

Games and sports: Tournaments of ball and bat games for both male and female students are organized by student representatives.  The College is a member of Bhutan University Sports Federation (BUSF). This membership allows the College Team to participate in the inter-college tournaments organized by BUSF. The college one indoor and out door basket court. The campus also has two volley ball courts, one indoor and one outdoor badminton courts, one archery range by the river side and one football field which will also cater to cricket enthusiasts. There are also rooms with facilities for board games. The College is planning to build an indoor swimming pool in the near future. These facilities keep the students and staff meaningfully engaged.
