Mr. Dorji Wangdi holds a master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialisation in Finance from Gedu College of Business Studies, Royal University of Bhutan. His academic foundation is further strengthened by his certification in Tally Prime, adding a practical dimension to his financial expertise. Mr. Dorji Wangdi conducted the academic research project on the Impact of Emotional Intelligence on Academic Achievement during the stay at GCBS and has also led a consultancy research project on Training Need Assessment (TNA) of RMA Employees and the Importance of Digital Currency in the 21st Century.

Professionally, Mr Dorji Wangdi brings a blend of industry and academic experience. He began his career as an intern at Bhutan Telecom Limited and later worked as an associate consultant in a private firm. He also worked as a survey enumerator, an experience that honed his foundational skills in empirical research. These diverse roles provided him with valuable exposure to the corporate landscape and enriched his understanding of real-world business operations.
Over the past four years, Mr Wangdi has been actively engaged in teaching and academic coordination at Norbuling Rigter College (NRC). He has taught a wide array of accounting and management modules, including Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Corporate Reporting, Taxation Law and Practices, Financial Management & Business Taxation, and Business-Government Relations. In addition to teaching, he has been responsible for coordinating accounting modules, demonstrating his commitment to academic leadership and curriculum delivery.
Beyond the classroom, Mr Wangdi serves as a Disaster Club Advisor of the college and coordinates the Music Club, reflecting his dedication to holistic student development and community engagement. His combination of research acumen, industry insight, and teaching experience positions him as a valuable contributor to the academic and personal growth of his students.
