Mr. Chundi Dorji graduated from Sherubtse College under English Honours course in 1998. He underwent PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) at Samtse College of Education in 1999. From 2005 to 2006, he pursued his master’s degree (Major in English) at the University of New England, Australia.

For the last seven years, he served in various schools (Nangkor LSS 1998, Tashitse MSS in the beginning of 2000 to end of 2002 and Trashigang MSS from 2003 to 2004 end) and as a lecturer in Samtse College of Education from 2006 to 2011. During his career as teacher and lecturer he shouldered various responsibilities such as House Master, Class teacher, Games In-charge, Publication Editors, Head of English Department and Gayjor Tshokpa adviser. He also participated as a core group member in developing English Curriculum and Teachers’ Manual for Classes IX to XII.
From the beginning of 2012 to 2015, he served as Sr. Labour Officer in PHPA-II and upon up gradation and promotion, he served in the same project as Chief Administrator for the next two years. Besides the administrative works he shouldered additional responsibilities of looking after various departments in the project such as Liaison Division Offices in Thimphu, Wangdue, Phuntsholing, Delhi and Siliguri, Labour Relation offices in Wangdue, Phuntsholing and Gelephu, Medical Division and Officer Club. From 2017 to 2022 he served as Chief (HR and Admin) in the same project. He resigned from the Project in 2022 end to join politics.
He has few publications (poems and stories) under his name and guidance. With his rich experience in various organizations and fields, he would be able to support the college both academically and administratively.
